I don't know what we would do without Laura! She has taken such great care of our furbabies over the years. We have a senior dog who needs daily meds and have now added a one year old puppy and she cares for everyone wonderfully. What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am certified in Pet First Aid and CPR through the American Red Cross. I now have 13 years experience as a pet sitter and a lifetime of owning and loving my own fur babies!
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have been a substitute teacher for Orange and Seminole counties since 2004. In 2009 I moved to Seminole County and wanted to supplement my income. The only thing I love more than kids are animals so it seemed a good mix!
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
I would suggest contacting a couple of pet sitters to check prices and availability. Then I would want a meet and greet which should be free. Once you and your baby meet the sitter it is usually pretty clear if you are a match! ♥️
