Had a water damaged front door interior light switch(2), which was shutdown. 1st tech cancelled service call, another tech was sent to rental property, and quoted $684 to change the 2 light switches only. Wiring, breaker tested and ok. Service call was $49.95. The price is outrageous. Asked tech to call office to confirm quote, said he could not. Asked me what I would accept? So, I called the office and got a quote of $119 per light switch, so $240 plus the service call of $49.95. Naturally, I said no and sent the tech away. The manager "Chris" called hours later and left a message. I callled back and Chris stated the same thing, "what do you think its worth". I spent 20 minutes with this manager explaining how long it would take to perform work, and worth nothing more than 1 hour plus diagnosis. Asked the hourly rate, would not provide. Then Chris asked me if I had relatives in Island Park, NY. I said no. However, I do know of a drug dealer from Long Island, NY who sells drugs in Tampa Bay area. So, it appears we have a manager who is using his role in someone else's business to settle scores on behalf of someone else? I have never met the manager Chris. Chris has no respect for the business owner, his role, or the customers. Not recommended, unprofessional employees and manager. I own several rental properties in area, will not call this firm again. I can't imagine the owner responding the way they did to my review, like some canned response? I may contact the owner directly. Update, messaged the owner, no reply. She appears to just bought the franchise, lacks business experience.
