- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I went to UGA as a horticulture major, where I learned to stay updated with university publications throughout the South for the science behind the work we do. Traditionally our industry adapts to new research fairly slowly, and I want to make sure that it is not the case for us.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
A love of the outdoors and landscape design drew me to the industry initially, but the goal of building a small business that I could be proud of is why I still love doing it.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Mowing, weedeating, edging, and blowing are the main services provided. Additional services include fire ant control, hand weeding, fertilization, and garden design/installation.
