FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
During scheduling we will either discuss the clients needs or set up a meeting time (usually over the phone or FaceTime). During that meeting we will have a list of questions for how our clients would like their day to be captured. We will email examples of ways we suggest capturing their day. We highly encourage the client to send us examples of images they have seen that they would like to try as well. We will then schedule the session and will call 1 to 2 days prior to confirm the event.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I (Cassandra Conklin), owner of Primary Bend Photography, have a Bachelors of Fine Arts - Major in Photography. I have worked as a professional & freelance photographer for the past 8 years. My experience outside of the classroom includes teaching photography workshops to high school and college students, Lead Photographer of high fashion senior photos for a prestigious studio, as well as working as Senior Photographer for a family oriented studio.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Cassandra comes from a very artistically supportive family. From a very young age she was encouraged to pursue anything she felt the need to create or learn. As a photo enthusiast Cassandra's Father taught her at a very young age how to frame and make a photo. After having pursued the performing arts through her younger years she was in search of a focus of study for her college years. Having floated around for about a year she took one photo class and it sparked the passion and desire to create that she was looking for.
