I booked Travis for my first ever professional shoot, which happened to be for my birthday. Let me preface this by saying that it was one of the best decisions I’ve made. I was already very impressed by his work, the precision, lighting and chic/hip-ness to it, my pictures are exactly that! Travis made sure to ask about the vision of the shoot, which was going to be individual shots and then group shots with my friends with city chic vibes. Travis did research and provided a various options for shooting; I appreciated this because it was my first shoot so I wanted to lean heavily on his expertise. Prior to the shoot, Travis shared some Pinterest posing ideas for group and individual shots since it was my first ever shoot; again I really really appreciated this. On the day of the shoot, Travis was on time, professional, easy to talk with and came with more ideas! I loved the fact that he gave me tips as he was snapping photos, in a sense he was shooting and directing; I am not sure if other photographers do this but they really should!! It allows for a variety of pics to select from and advice from a professional! I received all of the pictures to select from (for edits) about a day later!! I appreciated how fast he provided these! I LOVE my pictures and am still procrastinating on selecting my favorites because they are sooo good! Thank you Travis for the experience and for capturing our moments (both individual and group), I can’t wait to share them!! I say all of this to say, BOOK HIM!!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I send out a pre-session questionnaire to get some more information about the person I'll be photographing. It gives us both a chance to get to know one another and build a rapport before we actually meet. Let's plan a call, we'll hash out all of the shoot details and any concerns. My goal is to make you as comfortable as possible before and during the shoot.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am completely self-taught, but I have been mentored by some really great photographers in LA. I regularly do online training to make sure that my skills are always current and on-point!
