Carrie F. says, "Jay was fantastic to work with. He came out to evaluate the situation and provide a quote and was able to complete the project quickly, exactly as we had discussed. We had an old pond structure in our yard that had become a safety hazard and needed to be filled in. Unfortunately, the concrete structure extended about a foot above ground level and needed to be demolished to actually be removed. It was a bit of an unusual request, but he talked through the different options and the best way to approach things to make the outcome the way we envisioned it. He was mindful of the existing landscape to ensure we wouldn't have future issues with erosion, particularly with the rear of the structure that I had not considered we would need to keep as a retaining wall, but very glad he thought of this. Jay completed the project thoughtfully and left it exactly as we discussed so we can fill in the space and DIY the last few steps ourselves. Very happy with the results and look forward to reclaiming this portion of our yard!"See more

What can concrete contractors do?

Concrete contractors can build foundations, structures, driveways, concrete storm drains, raise or level concrete patios and much more. They can handle every step of the process, starting with framing the mold that the concrete is poured into. They then cut, assemble and tie together the rebar, giving the concrete its tensile strength. Finally, they pour the concrete in, mixing and conditioning it to ensure it cures properly. They will also take steps to ensure that no air pockets are trapped within it.
