- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing is an overall estimate and subject to change depending upon the type of event, date, timeline, distance, add ons and additional equipment wanted or needed for your particular event. Standard industry rates range from $125 to $200 per hour for a seasoned, skilled and professional DJ with professional gear. A required 50% deposit due within 7-10 days is required to reserve our services. Deposits are refundable up to 60 days of the event date with written notice and payable via cash, check or CC via Pay Pal. During our initial contact with prospect clients we discuss and confirm the details involving your upcoming event. Often by this time, the plans including the date, timeline or location may have changed a bit which can effect the price. In addition, while discussing your event, and the flow of events, clients will add on additional items such as; extra dance lights, a mixer or an extra wireless mic for an instrumentalist or vocalist, a satellite or wireless speaker for the cocktail hour/ registration area. Finally, for Weddings with ceremony included, it may be that an additional mini ceremony sound system and set up is required, depending on the distance between the ceremony and reception areas.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We have a detailed conversation confirming the event details. we request the clients cell phone, email and event address information. This information along with whats provided on Thumbtack is combined and forwarded as a formally signed PDF agreement for review. If needed a meet and greet/ walk through at the event space or middle ground location maybe scheduled to hammer out any last details or concerns. Any changes or amendments are made and the agreement is signed the deposit is paid. After the client pays the deposit we will send out login information and easy to follow instructions for planning forms, timelines and request list to be completed.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have over twenty plus years working as a professional entertainer performer and business owner. I have worked with and partnered with some of the most successful event planners, event coordinators and venue managers in the Southeast. In addition, I have extensive stage experiencing touring and performing to large club crowds from NYC to Key West. I have successfully owned and operated a full service production and recording studio. I studied Music Video Business.
