- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Just explaining the process of things and easing their anxiety when it comes to being away from their pet for a couple hours. Also reassuring them that their fur babies are in great hands.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have my bachelors in Veterinary Technology from Fort Valley State University. I also have my license as a Veterinary Technician. I have worked in the veterinary industry for 10 years now, working my way from kennel tech to hospital manager.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I saw a need for it when I was working at UGA veterinary teaching hospital. I offered pet sitting and at home care to the clients I came across, especially to those whose pets I cared for personally. Then a couple years later, I moved to Atlanta and began grooming and dog walking.
