A Kinder’s Garden

​My name is Jassana Isaac-Penn and the following paragraph is practically my resume (lol). I have experience working with children of all ages starting from birth to adults. I have worked as an Assistant Teacher to a Head Teacher to than a Substitute Kindergarten Teacher in numerous childcare centers over the course of ten years. I was then offered as an Assistant Director in an at home childcare daycare. I have taught part-time ESL as an Online Teacher for five years for toddlers to adults, all while being a K-12 Art Teacher over seas (Brazil to be exact)! I have built a small family owned art entertainment business called ArtsieSelf, LLC; where I was able to guide adults through a fun paint and sip event. I must say the walk has been joyful and I wouldn’t change a thing! Although I have over ten years as a preschool teacher and I hold a BFA in Art Education K-12, I now have four years as a mom. I have found; based on my own experiences; that at home moms and their little ones would love to have a lot more to do rather than just watch NickJr. and YouTube. I have two boys; Shire and Suede (ages 4 and 2) who LOVE learning and LEARN QUICKLY. They are my inspiration to help other moms with their littles at home with having fun and learning. I am currently attending CUNY Brooklyn College to complete my MA Early Childhood Birth-2nd Grade degree. This will allow me to expand, become an accredited online preschool and provide much more for my Kinder’s and their Gardeners! So thanks for exploring A Kinder’s Garden!
