My main objective is making sure people feel good about themselves. Our appearance is the armor we bring out into the world, and I want to make sure you are suited with confidence.
I have also had a passion for fashion, and decided to make it a career by attaining Bachelors in Fashion Merchandising from CSULB. Previously I have styled for photoshoots, and pull together look for special events. In addition I have worked for high end retailers such as Saks Fifth Avenue, Club Monaco, and Juicy Couture, where I have independently dressed and styled clients. Throughout my experience I have specialized in lingerie, handbags, fast fashion and sportswear (RTW).
I love interacting with people and having them leave their appointments with me feeling amazing and empowered. This year i have decided to branch off and a pursue wardrobe styling and consulting.

Jamila is my go-to girl for all my styling questions! I got to work with her and watch her in action with the clientele my store. She is so personable and makes her clients feel so comfortable—like they’re shopping with their bff. I love to see what outfits she’ll put together. Her clients just exude confidence when they step out of the dressing room and see themselves in an outfit they would have never thought to try on. If your closet needs a refresh, or if you’re feeling a bit blah about your current closet she can work wonders!! She’s also just an overall amazing person :)

Working with Jamila was great! I couldn't believe how helpful she was. She understood my style immediately and helped me make at least 50 outfits out of clothes in my own closet. She took pictures of the outfits and every time I wear them I get compliments. I guess I had a lot of good pieces but I hadn't thought about mixing and matching them the way she did so it was extraordinarily helpful to have her help. She also selected 10 key items I could add to my wardrobe as staples and sent me links to ones that were on sales and well priced. Overall I can't say enough positive about the experience and can't wait to have Jamila come over again soon to help!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I work on an hourly basis.
However I do charge a travel fee. I will travel to you up to 15 miles. Anything over that is a $30 flat fee.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First I love to go through your closet with you, so that I get a better sense of who you are and what were working with. It also gives me a better idea of what were working with. I can then put together outfits from items you already have . I'll take pictures of them and upload it to a google drive so you have a copy of everything.
From there we can fill in the holes in your wardrobe and go shopping for what you need, so that you are not spending any unnecessary money. I can either provide links to online product or we can physically go shopping together. You can provide me with a ball park number/budget and I will target stores within that range.

Bachelors in Fashion Merchandising.
