FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
In order for "At your door Cleaning" prices to stay as low as they are, but still be profitable I have to limit the time spent in each house. This job is a lot of physical labor on the body so I charge about $25/hr. for that plus time spent to travel/clean houses, supplies, and to pay workers so when it is broken down like that then the price should make logical sense. (If I quoted you for instance $60 dollars I have to spend like 2 hrs Max in the house with gas/supplies being paid through the rest. ) Anything over that time would have to be added or I'll work the hrs. the pay allows. This is very very rare but sometimes in houses that haven't been kept up in a while the normal amount of time in the same size house isn't enough. this is where the $25/hr. comes in or I will schedule when I can come back if my schedule doesn't permit me to stay over.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First step, is get the answers for the questions listed above. Next, see what date/time works best and schedule the customer. (have them mark as hired where the quote was sent.) then, clean house and receive payment (the same day of service.) schedule next cleaning. lastly, the customer writes a review.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have about 4 yrs. experience as a hotel housekeeping supervisor/housekeeper. I am very detailed oriented and have been trained as a worker as well as training/supervising cleaners personally. I have also worked for "the cleaning authority of Duluth" as well as a smaller different Cleaning service before I started my own. Both of these business provided there own videos/training upon hiring. So I have Incorporated all of these trainings in "At your door Cleaning. "
