Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: Supporting others in their career goals has always been a passion of mine. Throughout my time in school and professional career, I've been apart of several business-related organizations such as Youth About Business and Alpha Kappa Psi Professional Business Fraternity. In those organizations, I learned the art of crafting impactful resumes and cover letters to reflect work experience in the best light, to land dream jobs and highlight skills. I've been editing resumes for over 10 years. Starting with resumes for students applying for internships and full time jobs, post graduation, during my time at The University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Today, I continue to support others in writing/updating resumes in addition to my full time career. Especially during times like now, where the market is uncertain, I believe having an up to date resume is very important. I listen to the needs of my clients and work with them to create/update a resume that is both simple and sleek but also to shine light on the details of all the work they've put in throughout their professional careers. My goal is to take the work that you have put in your past and current jobs and experiences, and make sure each task and skill is highlighted in a way to attract employers.

FAQs

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

My pricing is competitive in relation to many other vendors that offer the same service. I do this because resume writing is not my main profession, and I want to be fair to clients who book with me. I require 50% up front and 50% upon completion (that meets client's standards).

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

The typical process is as follows: 1. Provide me with your resume that needs editing or a list of your previous work history, and organizations or skills that you have. 2. Provide what kind of job/employer you're looking to attract. 3. I will provide a first draft within a 3 business days from receiving the information listed in step 1. 4. After you review the draft, if you like it, we will finalize. If not, I take the feedback given and construct one more draft. 5. A maximum of two drafts is included in my standard pricing. the final payment will be due upon submission of the second draft. If more than two drafts are required, charges will occur for each additional draft.
