FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am actually a biology major and use my knowledge of chemistry to find better and safer products to clean with.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Typically, my jobs are residential cleaning jobs. I do have a primary client that is a business, and I have been there for about 3 years every week, but for the majority, I clean homes for private owners. I will take commercial cleaner positions if the opportunity arises, however the hours are sometimes out of my range and that is why I do not pursue them more.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Be specific in what you are expecting out of your experience. Just saying, "I want it clean" means different things to different people, and especially when paying by the hour, clean can take a little while or a long time. Be clear in what you are expecting, what you can afford, and the things that make you happy with the work. The housekeeper wants you to be happy but they also want to be called back to clean again, and good communication is the key to understanding between the client and the service provider. :)
