FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Most jobs are very specific and often require a site visit. Architectural and structural plans are usually necessary for new construction. Sometimes simple repair jobs can be quoted with good detailed pictures.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Get a description of the job and customers needs. Examine plans or details of the project. Conduct site visit if necessary. Estimate material and labor to provide quote.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My education background is in engineering and management at Georgia Tech. I began working with master masons in 1993 after returning from the service. A deep interest in the masonry field led me to seek skill and knowledge while educating myself with as much academic information as possible in the lost art of masonry.
