Definitely recommend for you organization needs. Could not have done the organization needed without his help. Oliver was more than prepared by bringing additional bins, has a niche for organization. Great work and very responsive. Adding a ‘after’ picture would not do justice without the ‘before’ pic but i have a very organized garage now….Highly recommend.

I’ve used Thumbtack for several projects. Quite disappointed up with a few people I hired in the recent past. I’ve learned a lot from my experiences. Regardless of what project you’re looking for help to do: 1) some vendors on the app don’t just exaggerate their qualifications, they outright lie about their credentials and certifications. 2) Do an internet search of their name, their business name and verify they are who they say they are and their reputation. (Some obviously have had their friends do positive reviews on this App because there is no way a legitimate customer would give them 5-stars.) 2) Ask questions. Make sure you and the person have a clear understanding of your project and the cost to accomplish it - get it in writing whenever possible. I had a major organizing project in my home which involved unpacking my belongings from a recent move which combined 2 households. The major challenge being my new home has very little storage including insufficient cabinets and poor layout of the cabinets I do have (I literally have to use a ladder to reach the majority of the cabinetry). Before hiring Amaris Vitae, LLC. I had hired an organizer who claimed to be a seasoned professional organizer. She was NOT! She made a huge mess in my home because all she was interested in was opening boxes without addressing the contents and putting them away. I dismissed her the 2nd day she showed up because I could barely get into my kitchen or to my patio to let my dog out. That’s how badly she had “organized”. My stuff was spread out all over the floor and scattered with opened but full boxes. Again, nothing organized, no rhyme or reason to “her method” of organizing. After this woman, I then interviewed several “professional organizers” Some were rude and condescending, some made outrageous claims to justify their exorbitant prices. I checked a few out independently if I was remotely interested in possibly hiring them and discovered the deception of some of these self-described experts. THEN…. Finally, I found and contacted AMARIS VITAE, LLC. From the moment I spoke to Oliver, the founder of Amaris Vitae, I felt comfortable. His attitude and demeanor were positive, non-judgmental and confident he could handle the task. He IS a professional organizer. He really is certified by the International Organization of Professional Organizers. He has years of experience in both organizing and merchandising (display creation) in retail. HE KNOWS WHAT HE’S DOING! He sent me a contract with his code of ethics, how he works, what he charges and what I could expect. I checked him out online and everything he had told me over the phone was true. Wow! What a refreshing change from previous people. I hired him immediately. Because, oh yes, I had a critical time line to get this first organizing project done as I was having out-of-town guests - with a four year old child. Oliver came in, got to work, offered valuable solutions to accommodate the severe lack of storage here and worked diligently to get what I needed done immediately finished. In addition to being a true, certified professional organizer, he’s a genuinely kind, compassionate and great person to spend time with. I felt very comfortable having him in my home and just love him as a person. AND most importantly, I love how he transformed my home from totally messy, scattered boxes with stuff everywhere to being organized and easily accessible - which is essential as I’m currently recuperating from leg surgery and have both mobility and balance issues. I’m taking his suggestions and will be buying additional storage solutions. He’s going to return after my guests leave and I’ve purchased what we need to get me completely organized. I’m excited about what else he can do once I’ve gotten a couple of pieces of inexpensive furniture and shelves. I’m extremely happy that I found Amaris Vitae and Oliver. He came to my rescue, met my time constraints, did a fabulous job quickly, professionally, with amazing results - all with keeping a smile on his face while working very hard. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Amaris Vitae. I really can’t say enough positive things about his work and my wonderful experience with him and the results he accomplished. Do yourself a favor, learn from my previous experiences, and just hire Amaris Vitae for your home or office organization projects. Don’t put yourself through the torture of interviewing and/or hiring a”wanna be” professional who may make your situation worse. I promise you, you will not be disappointed if you hire Amaris Vitae. You will be amazed at what he can do in a short period of time. He doesn’t waste time, he’s all about working to get the job done and achieving extraordinary results. I am so very grateful to Oliver for bailing me out of an overwhelmingly depressing environment to one of organized tranquility and functionality. Thank you again, Oliver. You’re an incredible human being and undoubtedly THE BEST organizer in the area!! Amaris Vitae is awesome!

Like most multiple unit buildings, my condo has minimal kitchen storage. And with wire shelving in the pantry, it was difficult to store cans and smaller kitchen items. Oliver solved my problem by using containers and racks that greatly increased the capacity of my pantry. Also, he utilized the door space with a rack for my spices and condiments. I am very pleased with the result and will be using Oliver’s skills for my next major project - the garage!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
In-Home Professional Organizing is $50/Hour within 30 miles of 30344 (or 20171 in the DC area)or any of my colleagues. $100/hr if you have a large job needing 2 organizers For extremely large projects, please reach out for a quote. Anything outside of that range will incur an additional $0.59/mile. I provide a breakdown of my hours down to the minute once we are complete. Virtual Professional Organizing is $40/Hour Organizing Products are Custom Closet Parts and Pieces/Installation are NOT included in my hourly rate.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The typical process for a new customer is the following: 1. Complementary Virtual Assessment (15-45 min): During our initial virtual assessment, we will go over your project, what your needs are, your timeline for completion, create an understanding of what Home Organizing is, and if possible, I would have you walk me through your space virtually to get a sense of the scope of your project. As with everything I do, this is also the time to set an intention of a peaceful process, giving you space for peace of mind throughout out the organizational process. 2. In-Home Consultation/Planning: Once we've decided to move forward, I will come to your home to see your space in person. I will create a plan based on your needs and create a schedule, milestones, and tasks to keep up both on track throughout the process. If you need a custom closet or solution for your space, I would take your needs and lay them out in a design that works for you. At that time, we will complete contracting and other paperwork to move forward with the process. 3. Take Action: Depending on how you want to work together we will begin removing, sorting, rebuild, and customize your space. 4. Curate Your Space (Optional): This is where we have fun with bins, organizational tools, and gadgets to help you continue to be successful going forward!
