Brandon was not prepared to do the job on a few occasions like forgetting tools. Some rework had to be done. The biggest complaint I have is I had him give the neighbors an estimate to replace a short run of fence. They didn't like his price but when I asked about doing it, on my dime, he increased the price $140.00. Blamed that on the price of material going up. It had only been a week or so since they got the estimate from him. I was told his quotes were good for 30 days. Not the kind of folks I am use to dealing with. He and his partner were always nice. I know they are trying to get started on their own. Communication was an issue too. After I talked to him about that, it did get better and he made a better effort in trying to let me know when he was planning on doing certain things. Maybe a lot of this is to trying to get started but the end job was good.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
yes and no we do have a base price that we go off of but there are so many variables to consider when pricing the fence or deck that we must be able to look at the job before we can give an accurate quote.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
we set up an appointment to meet with the customer at their home or business that the work will be done, we walk the job down with the customer letting him or her tell us what they want figure up the price of the job sign a contract if we are accepted as the contractor and start work on the day agreed upon
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
20 years in the industry. there isn't a type if fence we haven't done and if you'd like something one off or completely custome we can make that happen too.
