FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
No standard pricing system. I'm willing to work with whatever reasonable budget the customer provides.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to have a good verbal (not by means of text or email) dialogue with new customers initially. Being able to hear what a customer needs is much more effective than the ambiguity of reading a service request. Once the initial contact is made, I would typically come out to the customer, do a visual assessment and then inform the customer of any details that may have been missed in the initial consult and give the customer a base estimate on the full cost of the job. If materials are needed, I would provide a workup of materials cost and I would go got the needed materials (initial materials financing responsibility varies on a case by case basis and there may be a pickup fee assessed for larger materials handling and delivery). Once materials are acquired, I prefer to go non-stop after carefully planning my strategy, to get the job done as efficiently and effectively as possible. Larger jobs may require an initial down payment or a non-refundable assessment fee that may or may not be applied to final costs.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have 10 years experience in home repair and renovation.
