FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
As I'm a college student in the field of creative writing, I surrounded myself with creative professionals who keep me on my toes. While it is true that each writer has an individual style, it is still very competitive!
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I recently wrote a piece detailing a visit to the Oklahoma City Bombing memorial. I visited when I was younger, and the memory has stuck with me. It is a very emotionally charged place to visit, and the paper turned out much longer than I had imagined. I did my best to convey what I felt while I was there; the sadness, the joy and hope - all of the emotions that go hand in hand with any sort of tragedy. I think it turned out very, very well.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Contact, contact, contact. It's all about relationship - get to know your freelancer, and they will do their best work for you. Writing can be a lonely job, sometimes, and we freelancers enjoy talking with our clients. Not only does it offer the chance to make a new friend, but it helps us to do our best work when we know intimately what it is the client wants.
