FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I do not have a complicated pricing structure. However, pricing is dependent upon the scope of work. My only set fee is a home/site visit in which I am only providing verbal direction for the client to complete tasks on their own. That fee is $300 for up to 2 hours.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Typically I ask for pictures of the space(s) and a description of what work the client would like completed to get a sense of the scale of the project. From there, I start with Inspiration Boards to narrow down aesthetic of the space(s) to be designed. Once that is agreed upon, then I complete the design renderings with resources for the items in the renderings so the client can move forward with purchasing and installing. I remain available for any questions or revisions to the project until it is completed. Depending on the scope of work, I am available for styling the space once the main elements are in place.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My degree is in Visual Communications from The Art Institute and I was a graphic designer for many years before transitioning into design in retail. After a successful career spanning 18 years. In 2013, I created my own design business for residential and retail. I also am a licensed Realtor as of 2017 and an expert in Home Staging.
