This is a review I was hoping not to have to post.
After dedicating much time to personal labor in our main bathroom, our last step was to have the floor tiles professionally installed.
I came into contact with
(Multi Cash Investments).
Things started well. Pictures were sent, communication great and quotes were fair.
Unfortunately, that is where great service ended. Mr. Leon and crew arrived at the work place over an hr late which cost us money.
They did not come prepared for the job and needed to immediately leave to Home Depot which wasted more time.
We suggested that backer/wonder board be used to cover the vinyl that was on the bathroom floor before lying tile.
But it was suggested that it wasn't needed and that the tile could simply be laid on top.
The process finally began after 3 more trips to Home Depot. The wrong color grout and tiles were purchased.
All setbacks we willingly worked through.
One the second day of work, Mr. Leon came alone. He still needed to grout and place the toilet. Upon arrival he told me that the tile still needed to settle, but the toilet could be placed as long as we didn't walk on the tile. Mr Leon attempted to install the toilet alone.
As the toilet was being placed, the tile shifted...lines became crooked and tiles cracked. The water switch was accidentally turned on and poured all over the floor which made a mess as it helped to further unsettle the tiles.
Leon came back on Saturday to discuss next steps and explained that he was a man of his word and will come back to fix or redo the floor as it was unacceptable at this point.
We made arrangements for his arrival for the following Monday. Since then, there has been zero contact with Leon since leaving the premise Saturday.
Mr Leon was paid for this job, yet he chose to leave a mess behind for us.
Tools, grout, and an unfinished job!
We showed Mr Leon hospitality. We were very understanding and went out our way to work with him.
Still he chose to turn his back on the unfinished job and move on.
After finding and paying a professional to review the damages on Tuesday, it was revealed that the tile was NOT set and still very wet.
It could literally be picked up off the floor!
They also had failed to grout underneath the sink. It was a very unexpected costly disaster!
I say all of this to say that though full of potential, Mr Leon lacks consideration and integrity. I would not recommend
Mr Leon and crew for tile based jobs.
I'm sure he has strengths in areas and whatever area that is aligns with what you actually need.
This costs so much time, money and energy and it is still not finished.
We are literally starting the entire process all over again...now paying for more supplies and for someone to do a job that should have been done right the 1st time.
Should you decide to hire multi-cash investments,TAKE CAUTION!
We are definitely paying for it.
