Introduction: My photography is not just a final image, but an experience. After studying fine art for years, but also being a part of the commercial world, I can intertwine those elements together. I've also heard that I've made people who are even camera shy, more comfortable in front of the camera. My work should reflect that. Not only is it always interesting to shoot new things or create new images, but the happy reactions of clients who just love showing the photos off.

Working with Tess is always a great experience, which is why anytime I need photography I chose to work almost exclusively with her. Not only is she professional, open minded, & willing to discuss your ideas, she is both patient & kind. Tess also has an optimistic outlook & calming presence that leaves you feeling relaxed while shooting. Her skills with a camera and knowledge of her craft are extraordinarily impressive. She gives direction well, when it is necessary, and knows how to get you the final product that you're looking for. To put it simply she's worth every penny I have ever spent. That being said I would definitely recommend her without a second thought.

Tess shot a one-hour portrait session with me, and I really love the photos she delivered. The lighting and mood she sets with her photos is exactly what I wanted when I was looking for a portrait photographer. She was very professional but also had a casual, positive energy throughout the shoot that made me feel more comfortable in front of the camera. Normally I have a hard time feeling comfortable being photographed so this was very important for me.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Depending on the type of shoot, the pricing system varies. However, it's mostly flat rate packages for things like portraits or sessions. I also have available add-ons to even more customize the experience.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I use online tutorial accounts such as lynda.com, attend workshops and often assist other photographers, which helps me broaden my horizons as well as add to my experience.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I grew up surrounded by art, I am extremely thankful of my cultural upbringing. My parents would always take me to museums since I was child, and they were always taking photographs everywhere we went. When I finally attended college and needed an art elective, I took traditional film photography and immediately fell in love with it.
