I created Lovett Learning as a way to share my knowledge and passion for mathematics with students all over the world. I’ve been tutoring professionally for six years now and I love every minute of it. I am dedicated to helping students develop confidence in themselves while learning the techniques to succeed.
Through online tutoring I break math down step by step for better understanding. Patience is one of my fortes and I ensure students feel comfortable to express when they don’t know something and explore the possibilities. I use Google Hangouts and Zoom meetings to complete online sessions.
Finally I will provide parents with email follow-ups after each session to help you better gauge where your student is progressing and where they may need more reinforcement. I look to be a resource for both the student and parent.

We have three children that receive tutoring from Lovett Learning, two in high school and one in middle school. This will be our third year working with Gavin. Our children love working with Gavin. He carefully teaches and explains the math concepts the students are learning in class. In addition to what they work on during tutoring, Gavin gives them additional resources such as Khan Academy to help them practice the math concepts for mastery. He is also flexible with our children’s’ schedule. They were tutored for honors level Algebra, geometry, and pre-calculus, and they received As in each of their classes. I would highly recommend Lovett Learning for anyone looking for a tutor to increase their children’s mastery and understanding in math.
