FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Return fees are form based
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My typical process in working with a new client relationship is to start with a scheduled tax consultation. I offer this complimentary session to each and every one of my prospective clients in order to ensure a good fit. This initial strategy session will help us get clear on what it is expected of me and the client. I like address ways to help and how I'm going to assist with the best of my abilities. If we decide to move forward, I will begin by sending some "pre-process " activities to get the ball rolling. This may also include filling out a client questionnaire, supplying filing documents, and all of the essentials that will be needed to start the tax return . Ultimately, the need of the client is my first priority and I want to make the process as simple and stress less as possible.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have two degrees: Bachelor's in Science and Master's in Public Health. I have extensive training in tax laws, rules and regulations. I have been in the a tax preparer for over 10 year and I have over 15 years of customer service experience. Currently, I am taking the Enrolled Agent (EA) exam. This certificate will afford me the opportunity to speak on behalf of the client's concern and/or situation directly to the IRS. This will put me in the position to advocate for the client in more ways than one.
