FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Since the crash in 2007, we became know as the Home of the $49 Tax Return. We felt that a simple return, a 1040, few W2s or 1099s, EIC, Interest and Dividends, and a few other forms, that used to take me about 15 minutes to complete when I worked for the BIG GUYS, was not worth $300. So, the $49 Tax Return was born! Our fees are based on the project information We do offer discount s to our Armed Forces, Active Duty and Veterans, and first responders.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Depending on what the job is, a straight forward tax return is generally a drop off and we call the client when they are complete. Others, we start with a free consultation. In the consultation, we make sure we are a good fit, go over the clients documents, come up with a plan or options, and finalize the package that suits their personal needs.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We graduated from Page Business School in 1986 with an Accounting and Business Management concentrations. Since deciding to make a career out Accounting, we have taken Annual Update classes which train us in the changes in Tax Laws that Congress enacts each year. We take software classes on the tax software each year for its changes as well.
