Payroll pricing is not overly complicated, but does have variables. The two core variables which affect total cost are how often you want to pay people, and how many people are being paid. Stating the obvious, weekly payroll will cost more over the year than bi-weekly. Beyond the basic core payroll process, the cost variables are around what other solutions may be needed for good management, such as electronic timekeeping for hourly employees, background checks, HR tools, and so on.
