I am an Athletic Development Coach with 10 years of experience as a competitive athlete, 15+ years as a tactical athlete (law enforcement & military), and 19+ years of combined experience in health care, fitness, and sports coaching. I believe everyone is an athlete; therefore, I specialize in the long-term development of athletes through the various stages of the life span. This is achieved by assessing the spiritual, physical, physiological, psychological, and functional needs and abilities of each individual. To meet your goals, programs are developed from the results of these findings. Addressing mental, physical, and spiritual performance can prevent and sometimes reverse chronic disease processes because disease is unable to exist in a healthy cell. Preventing disease prolongs the career of the athlete, while allowing them to compete at a higher level. My family's financial, personal health, and injury history motivates me to do what I do.
Family’s Health & Injury History
After my parents divorced, finances were a struggle. By the time I was ten years old, losing loved ones to disease had become “normal”. It took years for me to learn that suffering from disease was NOT normal. And I fractured my L-4 during the football season of my senior year in high school. It took years of rehab to regain pain-free function of my back. As a coach, efficiency is my highest priority in goal achievement.
Today, I use biblical principles, the fitness lifestyle, and aspects of well-being as tools to fight disease, maximize human functioning, and lead my clients to a life of abundance.
My coaching is for those that love being athletic, love to learn, and want to take full advantage of a fitness lifestyle. I am a perpetual learner that fell in love with health and fitness in elementary school. So far, I have devoted about 3 decades of learning toward understanding how to maximize the health and performance of the mind, body, and spirit. I want to share my knowledge in a way that helps you live a long and abundant life.
If it ain't functional, it ain't fitness!
I look forward to working with you. Talk to you soon!See more
