Needed to get some Security Cameras and Smart Ecobee Thermostats installed and wanted to buy them on my own. I wanted a pro who let me buy all my own materials and just did the work. Jon did excellent work installing 4 outdoor security cameras and 3 smart thermostats. Jon discussed the pricing ahead of time with me and stuck to that price after the installs were completed. Very nice, professional and good at what he does. Being in IT I'm a stickler for doing "clean installs" and Jon's work was reasonably priced and more importantly met my strict standards. I hope to work with him again on my next Tech project.

Jon added two external Ring cameras for me. One was installed over an existing floodlight while the other one needed some additional wiring which he hooked up to an internal outlet. I am extremely happy with the result, his professionalism, and highly recommend him.

Jon does AMAZING work! He fit us in after a previously booked installer cancelled last minute. He flawlessly hid all of our wiring and installed an 8 piece surround sound without a hitch. He was so personable, knowledgeable and trustworthy! Everything you need/want in a service provider.
We will be using Jon again very soon to make our basement dreams a reality!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
To get started - I ask questions. I like to know what my customers want to accomplish. From there, I put together an estimate and layout explaining equipment and labor that will be involved. Once agreed upon - the work begins. My team works efficiently and neatly to get the job completed on time and at a reasonable cost. We want to honor your time and your home, so we are precise and careful in how we work.

How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have played with electronics since I was a kid. I've always loved tinkering with electronics and wiring stuff up in different ways. While in college in 2002, I started working for a major telecommunication's company, and I've been in the industry ever since. I've worked with several companies mastering what I do and started AV Pro Design in 2014.
