FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
It is not so much a complicated pricing system as it is a fluid system. What I mean by that is I charge by the amount of work involved, not necessarily by the form involved. A depreciation schedule with a lot of assets on it only leads to 1 form, but it could take hours to create it.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Bachelor's of Science in Accounting from Northern Illinois University and a Master of Science Taxation also from NIU. We are required to get 80 hours of continuing education every 2 years - with the number of tax law changes and new forms there are every year, even if it wasn't required, I would still be getting close to the same amount of training every year.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Tax returns, tax planning and internal use financial statements.
