I highly recommend Modern Improvements, as they did a terrific job on my drywall repairs. I replaced all the copper pipes on 3 floors in my house. Thus after the plumbers finished I had holes in my drywall throughout the house. Modern Improvements did an awesome job replacing and patching the drywall and painting. Gustavo’s constant communications were perfect. I always knew what floor and where his team was working. Their team is a family, and from the first morning they jumped on the job they worked as a team, were very fast, and the work was very high quality. They cleaned up thoroughly. I highly recommend this family company.

If I had to say one word about Modern Improvements Construction, it would be PLEASED!
I took the wallpaper down in my bathroom and I completely messed up the drywall/sheetrock in the process. It was a hot ghetto mess. Phew! I needed help so; I reached out to Modern Improvements Construction for help.
From the time I contacted Gustavo on the Thumbtack App from the time the job was completed I was pleased. Gustavo sent Rosa to do the job. Yes, he told me in advance that she was coming but I was still hesitant. Rosa was professional, punctual and very skilled. Her actions said trust the process. Rosa explained the entire process to me also and it was identical to what Gustavo had told me from the beginning to the end of the job. Once Rosa started I was more relaxed.
Due to the weather and the extent of the job, it took a few days to completely and the drywall to dry. Gustavo came over at the end of each day to make sure I was pleased. And I was.
My husband and I opted to paint ourselves. Gustavo explained to me what kind of primer and paint we should and should not use.
