I specialize in personalized service on outdoor wedding ceremonies, family portraits, boudoir, and model portfolio development. Unlike most photographers, I also specialize in pin up photography!
Whether I travel to the client or whether they come to me, I like clients to feel "at home" when we are working together.
I also believe that you can preserve your wonderful memories without breaking the bank. Some things are just too expensive, and wedding photography especially is one of those.
I love meeting families when I am doing weddings or portrait photography, and I enjoy hearing how much they love the finished product. I am thrilled when someone sees their boudoir shots for the first time. It is such a confidence boost for so many. It's a great feeling to help someone feel good about himself/herself!

Mr. Ackerson was wonderful to work with. Very easy going and professional. He had the patience of a saint with my rambunctious 2 year old son. We had a mixed family/child/maternity shoot, and we got to all the poses I wanted to try. He was very accommodating. I received the photos within a week of of photo shoot. My family is looking forward to working with him again!

First signing onto thumbtack we were very overwhelmed trying to find an affordable yet talented photographer for our big day. With many searches online it seemed like you were paying high end price for low budget editing. When my fiancé and I finally received a quote from Wayne we were not only thrilled by his affordable pricing but also the quality of photos he produces. There is no doubt that Wayne's photos portray a more natural romantic look that any one can admire. After reading Wayne's reviews and hearing how happy he has made all of his clients and his professionalism we decided to respond back to him to inquire more on his work. Just as in his reviews Wayne was a very professional and easy going. There was no haggling or hidden prices and along with his affordable pricing his payment request was definitely do able. I mean after all the other things that you have to fork up money for in having a wedding it was nice having one less giant deposit. There is no question in my mind that Wayne would have taken pride in his work if we would have went thru with him and that it would have displayed flawlessly through his photos. -We actually had a family friend ask to do our photos for us as a wedding gift to us. We want to thank Wayne for his offer he sent us and his time.

Wayne did an amazing job on our wedding photos. We just bought a house and decided that we did not want to spend a lot of money on a wedding so we decided to have it in our backyard. Pictures have always been important to me but I didn’t think a wedding photographer was in my budget. I tried thumbtack on a whim and it paid off. Wayne offered excellent pricing. I looked at his work and reviews and was very impressed. He was very personable and professional. He was very willing to take any picture combos or ideas we requested with a smile on his face and a great sense of humor. He is also very responsive if you message him. Thanks to Wayne, we have gorgeous wedding photos. I highly recommend Wayne.

I was looking for someone willing to work with my son and his puppy who is only 6 mo old. Selected Wayne primarily because of price but was extremely pleased. He met us when he said he would, spent plenty of time with us, and the pictures were to me within a week. The pictures turned out great.

Wayne was great! He made me feel comfortable the entire time and had plenty of great ideas and concepts when I wasn't sure about what I wanted. On top of that his prices were amazing. He made the process for getting my husband's anniversary present perfectly squared away.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
There is standard pricing, but it varies based on whether it is a wedding shoot, family portraits, boudoir, etc.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Every client and every situation is different, and the process for setting up, say, a boudoir shoot is different then setting up a wedding session or engagement shoot. So I pride myself in working closely with the client to ensure a pleasant experience and an awesome finished product!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been shooting photographs of people for decades, but decided to pursue it more actively about 10 years ago.
