FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I offer online lessons at my base rate. If you would like in-person lessons in the comfort of your own home, there will be a "travel time & gas" fee added to my base rate of the lessons. If your location is more than 15 miles away, then lessons will be virtual only.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First, I want you to be comfortable and confident with me as your teacher. Feel free to ask me anything about my playing/teaching history. Second, I like getting to know your musical history/experience, if you have any. Last, we will go over your goals that you want to accomplish through our lessons. We can also work together on creating some if you are having a hard time forming them on your own.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have 15+ years of professional playing/recording experience, including playing with several professional touring bands. I have been teaching students of all ages professionally for 12+ years. My training has consisted of graduating from KSU's Jazz Guitar Studio as well as lessons from Atlanta's top musicians including, Barry Richman, Sam Skelton, Trey Wright, and Jimmy Cypher. I have also studied with guitar greats, Joe Satriani, Paul Gilbert, Andy Timmons, Doug Doppler, and Frank Zappa’s guitarist Mike Keneally.
