I can’t say enough good things about Lucas Flooring. What started as a “small” bubbling issue in my main-floor hallway (that slowly went from mildly annoying to full-on trampoline vibes over the course of a year) turned out to be much more complicated than I naïvely assumed. I thought a couple of floorboards would be swapped out and we’d all move on with our lives. Enter Lucas.
From the initial consult, Lucas took the time to explain that doing the job right meant lifting much of the flooring from the edges to properly check for tightness—something I never would have known to ask for. That level of honesty and attention to detail immediately earned my trust. Lucas and his partner Ryan carefully lifted the floors so the same boards could be reused, and that’s when we (I mean, he) discovered the real culprit: water damage under the LVP that had soaked into the bamboo flooring below.
Instead of taking shortcuts, Lucas went straight into problem-solving mode. He recommended a long-term solution—cutting out the damaged area with a concrete patch and adding a moisture barrier to prevent future issues—rather than replacing rotted wood with more wood. What was supposed to be a small job didn’t intimidate him in the slightest. The professionalism, knowledge, and care he brought to the project were truly unmatched.
Even more impressive, he completed everything in one day. Pricing was beyond fair, the quality of work gave me real peace of mind, and I can now walk down my hallway without a literal bounce in my step. When I’m ready to replace all the flooring in my home, Lucas Flooring will be my first call—no hesitation. Don’t hesitate!
