- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
my pricing is all inclusive (unless otherwise noted) for most shoots which typically means makeup, props, concept art/creative direction (ex. posing, etc), set/location design(if needed deleting on concept), and a minimum number of edited pics are all included so that the client just needs to show up and shoot. make up and sometimes other aspects of the shoot may need to be outsourced depending on the size of the shoe, number of people, location etc.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
typically I'll do a 30 minute consultation to give me an idea of the type of pictures that they need, when they need them by, any general ideas etc. so that we can get a idea of we are a good fit. also, many people might reach out to me on social media or through my website or through an email. I tell them how my process works and the types of photos that I do and also what I don't shoot, I give them my base prices and then let them decide from there.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I'm actually a certified image consultant and I have certifications in tailoring, visual merchandising, and my degree is in psychology. my skill set moreso lies in the concepting, art direction, and creative direction of photo shoot production. I've had my photography business for 21 years now, and being self-taught has given me experience that I never would have gotten had I gone the traditional education route.
