Carlos was great to work with. I hired him to handle my lighting on a reno project and he was quick and efficient to install new lighting throughout the house and added can lights in the kitchen. He later came to my rescue when a previous contractor didn’t work out and was quick to pick up the add’l work installing new flooring, a ceiling repair, painting and fixing a tile backsplash in the kitchen. Thanks to him, I was finally able to sell my property and everyone complemented the finishes especially, thanks to Carlos!!
We have used Flooring Zone during our total home remodel over the past year. They have installed everything from travertine, porcelain, laminate and hardwood to custom glass tile in our showers and kitchen. During our renovation we had two high profile Contractors managing separate projects which included some of the tile work. Flooring Zone was called in on both projects to take over the tile work due to their level of skill and expertise. Their staff is dedicated, hard-working, professional and reliable. After comparing their pricing with competitor products and services, we found that Flooring Zone was the most fair and transparent. They arrived on time and stay with our projects through successful completion. Miles would even drop by my office to deliver samples for us to consider. Having recently hired so many Contractors, Flooring Zone was a refreshing experience. We are bringing them back in shortly to finish the last rooms of our renovation. When it comes to Miles and the Flooring Zone, we just keep calling them back because I know we will get a great outcome. I highly recommend calling Flooring Zone first or at least include them before making a flooring or tiling decision. Charity Floors did a fantastic job cleaning my carpets for move out inspection. Price was very reasonable. I was a bit skeptical when they came in with what looked like commercial rug doctors, but I was incredibly surprised at the results. The carpet looked great when they were done, and all of the traffic and pet stains were gone. My only drawback was a miscommunication error on their part which resulted in them showing up over an hour later than I'd been scheduled for. I would use them again in the future.
Jimmy and his team did a great job staining my deck and painting my front porch.
Ralph tiled 2 rooms in a rental apt that I have. He showed up promptly for our first appointment and really took the time to look around to see what needed to be done. (Mine was not an easy job) He told me how much it would cost and that was exactly how much he charged me - it was all such a breath of fresh air after some of the other contractors I had met with. I appreciated his professionalism and he did a great job for me. I would definitely use him again and recommend him highly.
General Contracting - I had several projects to be done as we were getting to put my home of 8 years on the market (kitchen leak, kitchen bay box, shutters, paint, deck). After reading all the reviews, I decided to contact Michael to get a quote. Due to scheduling conflicts, I couldnt originally meet him on Friday or Saturday, so he took it upon himself to come on a Sunday (which is pretty unheard of since most contractors usually dont work on Sundays) to assess the job and do his pre-inspection. The quote was more than reasonable for the amount of work I demanded and Michael was hired All jobs were done in a timely manner; it took approximately 2 weeks due to the weather and schedule conflicts. He kept me informed of what was being done each day and sent pictures of any findings needing attention. I would call Michael and TNT Building and Remodeling LLC if I ever need any work done on my future home and would recommend them to anyone.
First time using Thumbtack to find a contractor and Dustin of Courtesy Flooring did an exceptional job with flooring 2 areas of my house. I added on an additional job re-grouting a tile floor in a master bath which he completed quickly and thoroughly. I couldn't be more pleased with his professionalism and quality of work. He really enjoys what he does and it shows in his work! I will definitely use this company for future projects as well.
My wife and I recently bought a house and we were looking for floor installer to give a new modern rustic look for the 15-year-old house. We chose Andy and his assistant/wife Aida for the job and they have been a blast! Below I will list some pro and con based on my own but true experience. Scope of the project: 1. 2,800 sqft old floors removal, 2. Level up the subfloor by adding plywood underlayment 3. Glue down 1/2" engineered floors Pro: 1. Quality: Andy's work is top notch, he and his team removed all carpet and floors in just one day and left no dirt or debris. When he's working on nailing down plywood or gluing down floors, he is very focused, tactful, and fast. He makes sure long beautiful plank lied own in the middle of a room and hides discolored floors on side near walls. 2. Price: Andy's price is very reasonable. He wouldn't mind to work with you on his pricing to make sure both parties are aligned. So even his quote isn't the best, please do communicate with him and he certainly will work with you. 3. Punctuality: By far, Andy is the only one who keeps showing up on time and finish each part of the project in the timeline as he promised. 4. Communication: Andy speaks more English than you thought. Besides, you can always speak to his wife Aida for more clarification. 5. Work ethics/professionalism: I think Andy takes great pride of his work. And he wouldn't cut corners for short-term gain and put his long-term flooring career in jeopardy. One example I've experienced, when Andy was nailing down the plywood, he used more than needed number of screws to stabilize the plywood and repeatedly step on them to make sure no squeaks. Knowing we had other contractors to work in the house simultaneously, Andy put down paper to cover all floor area as a protection. 6. Personality: Unlike a lot of contractors, Andy always puts a smile and his face and listens to what you want and how to achieve it. Con or area for improvements: Please fix the logo on your truck. I don't think I would like the mis-spelled last name from "Valles" to "Vallez"!
Mike, is super polite and kept me up to date on his arrival to the house. His team did a fabulous job cleaning the carpets in the house. As a result I would recommend Dry Fresh Plus to my friends.
Fabio was fabulous- he's courteous, hard-working and a true craftsman. He repaired a water-damaged portion of our wood floor and it looks AWESOME! I would recommend him to anyone, and his prices are very reasonable, too. I wish every contractor we have hired had paid such close attention to detail. We were and are so impressed with him and would hire him again in a heartbeat.
Tony, provided a timely and competitive bid on tiling the backsplash of our kitchen. He recommended grout additive and installed the tiles as we agreed. The only negative part of the experience was that he didn't clean the grout dust when he was done. That wasn't a big deal for us to do, but would have been nice. I would definitely hire him again and hope to do so soon.
I have used this contractor for renovations on my home. He promptly replies to calls, His workmanship is great. He is flexible when unforeseen complications arise. Would recommend him. Honest and polite.
Steve Gray is an outstanding carpenter, completely trust worthy Christian that takes his work very seriously. Steve refurbished a 900sq ft. deck for me some six months ago and my neighbors still compliment us when were outside, heck Id have to say I smile each time I come home and see it. Steve came in completely under budget and the quality of the workmanship is unmatched and I know, Ive used a few fly by night contractors before; Steve and his wife Tara are extremely pleasant and responsive. Two thumbs up for East Coast Construction. Steves coming back for a bay window and doors replacement, look forward to seeing him soon. Dan Meyers Jersey GA.
Jonas and crew did an awesome job with repairing and refinishing an entire house of hardwood flooring!
James and team were AWESOME to work with - came in AHEAD of schedule and had the best value after searching for weeks for a contractor to do the job - would definitely rehire anytime!!!
WS Flooring did a good job on our flooring work in our house. This included installation of new hardwoods (in formerly carpeted rooms), stripping and refinishing existing hardwoods (to match the new ones) and installation of new carpet in remainder of the house. WS worked with us to provide the specific carpet product we wanted (which we'd been shown by another flooring contractor). WS was responsive, honest and flexible with what we wanted and worked around our scheduling. Pricing was good value. We had received 3 separate quotes for identical work. WS ensured we were happy and fully satisfied prior to accepting payment. I would not hesitate to hire WS again for another flooring job.
I had just bought a new house and wanted to redo and spice up my outdated master bathroom. After looking over Angie's List and Google for quite some time, I called a few contractors out to provide a quote for the work. Not only was Andres and his team at Leading Home Innovations prompt in their response, they were able to come out immediately and provide both their quote as well as their insight on what we should do with the project. Their price was extremely reasonable compared to the other quotes that I got and I really thought Andres was a trustworthy guy, so I decide to go with them and I could not be happier with the result. We were able to do everything that we wanted to the bathroom and Andres was able to provide his opinion via text every step of the way. He and his colleague Juan were extremely friendly and helpful and it took all the headache out of the renovation, aside from shipping problems with the parts that I wanted! They were very flexible and were able to work around my schedule in order to complete the project in time. I have already begun to think of more projects that they could help with around the house. I could not recommend these guys enough, satisfied.
I contacted GGC (Ga General Contractors) to do a change in color for my entire home, 4 bedrooms 3 bath home in Sandy Springs and the work was absolutely amazing! I would definitely recommend, very professional and humble people that I interacted with, awesome job.
Teyon is great to work with very attentive and willing to accommodate any last minute updates or changes without any push back at all. Overall this probably one of the best experiences I've had dealing with the contractor. And that's saying a lot because I've had a lot of work done on my house.
Mancel, is an great contractor and he has done majority of my home upgrades (tile bathroom/kitchen/back splash, added recess lights, replaced roof, installed hardwood flooring in a bedroom and replaced front porch). He communicates very well and works with you on your decision and give honest suggestion/opinions to give you great services.
I have used many contractors throughout my life, but have never used one as good as Alex. He went above and beyond throughout the process of doing the work. The quality was great on the hardwood, tile and carpet install. The customer service was unbelievable. He response time was exceptionally fast anytime we had questions. What was really impressive was the fact that after a week of the install I noticed his subcontractor missed a few grout lines along the wall in the bathroom. I texted Alex about that and within 15 minutes he came over to my house at 7pm on a weekday and did the work himself.
