• What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

  For our clients in this area, long-distance travel services (200+ miles) and multi-day bookings (2 or more consecutive days of service with a minimum of 8 hours each day). $2.5 a mile or the hourly rate, whichever is greater. If you are more than 100 miles away the minimum is 10 hours. Moving Services: The base rates are as follows: $10 per mile for the first 200 miles. $5 per mile for each additional mile thereafter. So if your trip is 500 miles that's $2,000 for the first 200 miles and $1,500 for the next 300 miles; for a total of $3,500 for that move. This includes two movers/drivers with a 2017 black Chevrolet Suburban truck with black leather interior hauling a 14x7 black trailer. Things like gas, tolls, brief pitstops, free wi-fi onboard, loading your stuff into the trailer, unloading your stuff, and setting them up are included. You also have access to a full-size trunk for some additional stuff you might want with you in the vehicle, or just extra space to put a few more items. Remember, because we're not local to where you're going, we do also have to return home, which costs time and money, as well as wear and tear on both the SUV and the trailer, this is all part of the price. To make things easier are some prices based on different distances to help you estimate what your price will be. Please note these do not including the extra time for longer stops. 200 miles = $2000 300 miles = $2000 + $500 = $2500 400 miles = $2000 + $1000 = $3000 500 miles = $2000 + $1500 = $3500 600 miles = $2000 + $2500 = $4000 700 miles = $2000 + $3000 = $4500 800 miles = $2000 + $3500 = $5000 900 miles = $2000 + $4000 = $6000 1000 miles = $2000 + $4500 = $6500 It should be noted that the prices here are not for your typical moving services, but in certain cases would actually compare. But we are not only moving your items but also you and your family and/or friends. We understand this service will only appeal to people who want to move farther with their items and want to do it comfortably and perhaps want to make stops along the way, like a road trip, or maybe you're a band who wants to move with your equipment. This is a hybrid service that combines moving, with personal transportation and is priced as such. The rates are predictable and the farther you are going, the lower the rate gets. We do have a 200-mile minimum to make the trip worthwhile. Our rates are all-inclusive, that is, anything to move you and your items from point A to point B with brief pitstops. We do not however move things like pianos or pool tables. If we do have to make stops for you to see things along the route, those will be based on the time that adds to the trip at a rate of $50 per hour. If we have to stay somewhere overnight and then continue your trip, you will provide accommodations. Otherwise, we will continue driving in shifts until we reach the destination. We can be on the road for one day or 2 weeks or more, it all depends on your plans. if you need us to stop somewhere along the route and perhaps drive you around for a day or two, or more, the daily rate would be $400 and will cover up 8 hours of driving and up to 75 miles of local driving in that area. The trailer will be unhooked and will be staying at the lodging location (usually a hotel that you will cover) locked and under the supervision of the other driver/mover so we can navigate the town or city easier since we wouldn't have the extra length that might prevent us to fit in or navigate some tight streets or make some tight turns in certain areas.

• What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

  The client gives me their trip info (whether it be hourly, long-distance, one way or round trip, etc) they pay a 25% non-refundable booking fee to reserve the trip, they pay the balance at pick-up. If they enjoyed our services and would like to tip at the end of the trip, they can do so in cash, or on any card of their choice. Moving Services: if you're interested in our services, we would ask you to provide us with additional details so we can give you the most accurate price. The prices will be according to the price schedule mentioned in the price section. We have displayed this not only for being transparent about our prices but also so you can pretty much get a good idea of how much it would be before even contacting us. Please note: it does cost us $30-60 for each contact with every prospective client. So please only contact us if you agree with the price and are actively trying to book us for your moving/transportation needs. As you can imagine, if we get 5-10 contacts a day of people just curious about the prices (which are already clearly displayed) that can end up costing us $150-$600 a day just to tell you the prices that you would be able to already know thanks to our upfront pricing model. The only other variable other than the mileage would be the number of stops you'd want to make and how long they end up being. Those rates were also displayed. I will confirm all of the details of your itinerary (trip details) and generate an official invoice, you'd then pay a 25% non-refundable deposit to book us. 25% when we show up to start loading the trailer and 50% at the end of the trip. Tips are at your discretion.

• What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

  I have been driving as an Uber Black driver and have 8 years pf experience driving passengers. I have been driving as a Lyft and Uber black driver for about 8 years. I have since built my own company, Lux Rydes which focuses on a more personal type of driving for people who want a driver for 8 hours or more or want to go farther. I have now extended that service to include moving with a black trailer. I will be driving the vehicle along with a helper/driver who will also drive as needed and more importantly, help move items, which is the other main service being offered here. As part of being an Uber/Lyft driver, I have been background checked and so is my brother was also doing the same and is in the Military. We both enjoy, both the driving and the physical challenges that come with this service and treat and drive the clients as we would treat our own family: safely and respectfully.
