I have been taking lessons from Ryan for about 10 months now and each week I see myself growing and sharpening my skill. I took guitarlessons when I was a teenager, but I wanted to get back at it and take my talents to the next level. We restarted my training and went from the building blocks of scales to the formation of modes. Now I am almost to a point where I can play any scale and mode horizontally and vertically up the neck of the guitar.
He's a brilliant instructor who finds the best method of teaching for each student. Looking forward to taking more lessons with him. We even do Skype lessons since I moved out of the Alpharetta/Johns Creek area!

I took my first guitarlessons ever with Ryan, and he was an awesome teacher. He was patient with me and taught me all the basics with lots of helpful tips and advice. Ryan is a friendly teacher and willing to work with you on whatever you want to improve or learn about guitar!

Ryan is a great teacher! He has been working with me for about 6 months now. He will help you learn whatever interests you on guitar. We've talked about theory, fretboard, chords, etc. He will tab out songs and listen to them with you to figure it out. Really great guy!

I decided I wanted to learn how to play guitar at the age of 54, and I knew I needed an experienced teacher. I heard Ryan play at a club in Roswell and he was fantastic. Then I submitted my request on thumbtack, and he was the first guitar teacher to contact me. I've been taking weekly lessons from him since August 2013 and I am very pleased with how it is going. I went from knowing nothing about the guitar to being able to play over 20 chords and two songs since we started. Ryan is an excellent teacher and has also become a friend. He is a great guy and I highly recommend him if you want to take guitarlessons.

Our oldest daughter who is seven takes guitar from Ryan. This is her first experience with playing an instrument. Ryan has been super with her! He is very talented, musically competent, patient, caring, and approachable. He also expresses a wonderful kindness with his teaching. We would recommend him to anyone!
We have been very happy with his guidance in teaching our daughter and our daughter enjoys Ryan so much. Two thumbs up for Ryan! :-)

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Lessons are paid a month at a time.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
A student will come in and meet with their teacher, possibly play something for them, if they've already been playing and then the teacher will talk to them about the best way to move forward with their lessons.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
All of our instructors have either received a degree in music or have been teaching, performing and recording for many years/decades.
