Introduction: My clients refer to me as ‘The Functional Body Detective’ Note: I do not do relaxation massage. My ideal client is someone that receives massage regularly or wants to begin (or continue) a practice of wellness. They understand that massage is not 'just' a massage that they treat themselves once a year but it is part of their wellness protocol. A massage therapist over time (& depending on what issues the client has) should be able to help the client feel much better within one or two sessions. My massage speciality is sports/medical/physical therapy like massage. I work to heal the body. Please feel free to visit my website at: restorationsportsmassage.com to read additional reviews, massage offerings and to schedule an appointment.

Massage Therapy

Robin’s practice is located in a professional building, and her office is very clean and quiet. Rather than having you hop on the table and give an overview of trouble spots, she does a formal intake interview on the first visit to gain a comprehensive overview of general health, potential pain triggers, trouble spot specifics, etc. Robin performs medical massage vs relaxation massage which equates to someone that is better trained and focused on fixing issues if possible. She has an intuitive touch and can quickly perceive where pain areas might be, even spots you may not realize. Her interactive therapeutic approach helps quickly release even the most painful knots. Compared to other medical masseuses, her prices are extremely fair and she provides a discount for massage packages purchased in advance. If you are searching for natural pain relief, perhaps in conjunction with chiropractic or other methods, Robin should be your go to masseuse!

Massage Therapy

This was my first time seeing Robin and I was very pleased with her work. I needed a massage to work on a bad hip and knee due to too much golf. She had me feeling much better by the end of the session. I will definitely be seeing her again.

Massage Therapy

Great session with Robin. She is very thorough and will ask you about what your issues are before the session. She’s very personable and really wants to gain an understanding about your needs. Remember this, Robin isn’t a relaxing type of massage, she is more of a PT mind and focuses on the areas that need attention and providing you with improvement. I’ll be back.

Massage Therapy

I am so happy to be working with Robin. She knows exactly how to treat my shoulder and back problems, and I feel relief after only one session. Her approach is very different from other massage therapist I have been to, and very effective.

FAQs

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

I do not charge by type of massage (deep tissue/sports/medical. I offer 60/$90, 90/$115 and 120/$155 minute sessions. I also offer packages at 10% off and have special pricing for monthly memberships. Massage pricing includes: The professional massage, various Young Living essential oil products, pain relieving products and music if requested.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I typically like to speak with the new client on the phone to understand their needs and expectations. I direct them to my website where I have them print and fill out the client intake form and cancellation policy. Upon meeting with the client on the first session, we review the intake form and discuss anything more I need to know and I do a quick structure assessment to see what is out of balance that the client may not know about. Typically, clients go home with stretching homework and I'll refer books/videos to them to watch to help them with their recovery.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

State of Georgia License of Massage, 2015. Continuing education
