Tim B. says, "The electrician did a good job fixing the electrical issue I was experiencing with an existing garage light. I thought the price of $313 for the job was a bit steep. He was already at the property so I used him. The issue is electricians charge you to come out to the home to provide an estimate without disclosing their hourly rate. I pay them whether I use them or not. So if I don’t like the first electrician’s quote I am still on the hook for his site visit and then need to pay a second electrician the site visit hoping the repair cost will be lower. I guess I just need to find a local electrician who my neighbors have found to be competent and reasonably priced."See more
