My now-husband and I picked Bill Gillespie from online reviews, and we are extremely happy with our choice! We spoke to him on the phone before putting down our deposit, and he was very friendly and laid back (unlike an officiant we contacted who had an extensive contract that included a clause that he was not responsible for mispronouncing our names!), but at the same time it was clear that it was important to him to make the wedding very personal to us as a couple. Our rehearsal was quick and easy since he was very well-prepared, and the wedding ceremony went exactly as planned. Bill did a wonderful job, and even several months afterwards our parents still comment on what a great choice he was. His price was very reasonable, and we are so pleased he was our wedding officiant!

Bill Gillespie was exactly what we were looking for in an officiant for our wedding ceremony. My husband and I were getting married in Savannah but live in Orlando, FL. It was somewhat of a destination wedding for us and without the help of a full-time wedding planner, were having to find and research different vendors all on our own. We knew we wanted a religious ceremony but not something that felt forced or unnatural. Since we really didn't have a relationship with any type of pastor or minister, we were a little weary of just finding someone off the internet. That was actually the case with someone we met with in Savannah PRIOR to Bill. We didn't feel as though we connected with the other guy and were starting to think we were going to have to pay for a friend to become a notary and perform our wedding ceremony! I winded up finding Bill on Wedding Wire and we couldn't be more pleased. He was so flexible and understanding yet also very informative and was able to steer us in the perfect direction once he knew what we were looking for. I would highly recommend Bill for any wedding services in Savannah.
