My husband and I really enjoyed working with Madisen on our maternity photo shoot in Savannah! We were there on our babymoon, and I let Madisen know what we were interested in doing. She really knows how to get fantastic backgrounds to highlight your photos and work with the surroundings. The results came back STUNNING! We are so impressed with the way photos came out, and we are super excited to share the photos with family. I hired Madisen to take photos of my brother and his girlfriend (now fiancé) during his proposal to her on Hilton Head Island. I wanted to give them something special as a gift and thought photos of their special day would be perfect. I was last minute in figuring this out and rushed to find someone just a couple days in advance. Fortunately, I came across Madisen on Thumbtack and she responded very quickly to my request. She was very professional and communicated effectively throughout the entire process. My brother and his fiancé said she was great to work with and made them feel very comfortable during the photo shoot! We did encounter one hiccup - Madisen's computer crashed the same day as the photo shoot so she wasn't able to edit the photos right away like promised. (Things happen!) She had to order a new computer which took a month to come in. As soon as it did, she quickly edited the photos and sent them to us. They were beautiful and worth the wait!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is entirely inclusive. The shoot, editing, and digital delivery are all factored into your initial quote so there are no surprises :)
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
After first contact with the customer, I like to get all the little details hammered down, time, place, what we are shooting, who will be there, and price.
From there, I talk to the client about their expectations and what aesthetics they have in mind. If the client wishes, I am always happy to meet in person before the date of a shoot so we can go over all the details in greater depth!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been studying photography on my own since middle school. In high school I took my first photography classes. Shortly after this I began taking my first portrait assignments.
Then I moved to sunny Savannah to pursue a B.F.A in Photography at The Savannah College of Art and Design. At SCAD I was able to truly hone the finest details of my craft.
Since graduating I have put all my focus on building a photography business in Savannah and the surrounding area. I have expanded from capturing portraits to include weddings, events, products, and so much more.
