My (now husband) Clay and I resorted to thumbtack when we decided at the last minute to have a small wedding instead of our plan which was eloping. It was located on his family farm and wasn't elaborate. Honestly being from Atlanta, I was a little scetchy with using a website to find a photographer for the big day, but due to the time constraint and our budget it would have to do. From the time Melanie contacted us to the time we met, we knew she was going to be perfect. Melanie was so sweet, she brought books for us to see her work, as well as, asked if there was anything specific we wanted, she even took the time out to come to the location for the wedding and walk it with us, so we could make sure the ceromony would be in a good place for pictures. She was prompt, courteous and professional. The day of she was amazing. She captured everything we would have wanted plus much much more! She wasn't in the way, and during the ceromony she was nothing like other photographers you see at friends weddings that are moving around too much, standing infront of people or loud. She was stealth, and even pitched in a helping hand when I forgot my bouquet. (Yep, I was "that" forgetful last minute bride.) The time schedule I had completely planned out, was behind an hour. She never once complained or acted as if I was wasting her time. She was very kind in reminding me it was my day and that it would all be just fine. She captured every picture perfectly AND I was able to see previews in just a few day! I can't guarantee that for you, but being a picture person, I love to see how they turned out and to not have to wait a week, or month to see them is AMAZING! My brother in laws wedding was a month ago, and they have only seen 4 previews, and are relying on friends phone pictures to show for their big day. We currently have 321 pictures to view in the album Melanie created. All in all, We couldn't be happier! Melanie will be our photographer for years to come!
