I was planning a proposal for my girlfriend and was seeking a private chef with a high quality and diverse menu and someone who could communicate well enough to trust their work.

I decided to hire Chef Anthony because of his responsiveness, professionalism, availability, reputation, and expertise. He worked with me to narrow down a menu that best fit my desires and he offered decor to spruce up the dinner.

Our starter was the seared shrimp Caesar salad and our entree was the rosemary lamb chops with fried rice and asparagus. Both my girlfriend and I were very impressed with this southern twist on a traditional Caesar salad. It had us puzzled why we had never had this before as it was delicious and the flavor profile was balanced so well! The lamb chops were cooked to absolute perfection.. it was seasoned well and allowed the meat’s natural flavor profile to shine. The accompanying rice was a great pairing and the asparagus too!

While we were eating our meal, Chef Anthony was cleaning and by the time we finished, he was packed and ready to go. The kitchen was spotless as if he had never been there! He bought his own dishes and linens!

Hiring Chef Anthony was an amazing decision and unthinkable decision I’d make again when hiring a private chef. We also loved how down to earth he was as a person.

You can’t be disappointed with Chef Anthony!

Chef Anthony was a pleasure to work with. As we coordinated, I had to ask for a new menu due to some allergies with in our group. Anthony was flexible and quickly came up with a solution. On the day of dinner, he reached out to confirm he is still good for the evening. I appreciated this level of communication. The dinner experience was exceptional. The group couldn’t stop raving about the meal. A guest who had previously stated that they didn’t like lamb, sampled it and was so impressed. Thanks again for everything.

Excellent dining experience for my cousins' girls' weekend! We were running late for dinner and most of my cousins were wild and silly, lol, but Chef and his assistant did not complain but instead delivered a delicious meal with professionalism. Thank you!

Experience with AFive from start to finish was amazing! Chef Anthony prepared a surprise meal for my husband’s birthday! My husband loves seafood & Chef Anthony crafted a menu that my husband & I loved! Communication, professionalism & responsiveness are very important to me & Chef Anthony exceeded my expectations. This was a great experience! He arrived on time, was pleasant & my kitchen was spotless by the end of the meal! We will refer Chef Anthony to our family & friends & will definitely use Chef Anthony in the near future!
