For our first wedding anniversary, my husband and I decided on a whim to do a photoshoot. We found Rob through Thumbtack , he was super easy to get in touch with and his quick responses made it extremely easy for me to move ahead with this last minute plan. From the get-go, we could tell Rob is very passionate about the photography and providing his customers the best experience. His warm demeanor and friendly personality instantly made us feel comfortable, allowing us to be our authentic selves. As a result, the photos he captured were not just beautiful but genuine reflections of our love and marriage. What also set him apart was his going above and beyond. Despite the early hour of our shoot and the distance from Waikiki to the location, he offered us transportation for a minimal fee, ensuring the logistics were not a concern for us. I can’t recommend him enough , and i am already looking forward to working with him again.

Rob is a remarkable photographer who turned our impromptu engagement photoshoot in Hawaii into a memorable experience. From the get-go, Rob was exceptionally accommodating and super responsive. My fiancé and I are not exactly the picture-taking type, so we were admittedly a little nervous about the photoshoot. However, Rob was super supportive and made us feel very comfortable. It has been an absolute pleasure working with Rob for our first maternity photoshoot! From our initial contact messaging via Thumbtack, he followed up immediately with a phone call to help answer questions and discuss package details. We booked the mini portrait session that was perfect for what we envisioned. We already knew we wanted the setting to be at our favorite beach in Waimanalo and Rob’s willingness to meet us helped the process go smoothly. Upon arrival at the beach, he played music creating a comfortable vibe, as well as enthusiasm to capture the endless beautiful photo opportunities and natural backdrops. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My prices are as affordable as you will find for the work I put it in to my clients' projects and the quality I deliver.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
After the initial contact, I send the client my contract and finalize the arrangements for the date and location. In the time leading up to the shoot, we'll discuss the type of images we're going for to make sure I get the right lighting and camera gear set up. Because my work is just as much about the experience as the quality product I deliver, I make sure to be ready early and make time to connect with my clients.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Over the past 10 years, I've done a lot of self education, but I'm also a protégé of Peter Hurley's Headshot Crew and a member of the Professional Photographers Association.
