Do it! You have to book Rob! We booked Rob for two shoots for our wedding: our ceremony and family photos, as well as a one-hour sunrise shoot a few days later.
From the start, Rob was an absolute pleasure to work with. He’s communicative, patient, and accommodating, and just a genuinely great guy (he even shared his favorite local food recommendations after our sunrise session!). He’s incredibly talented and really took the time to understand and bring our ideas to life. Our family and guests loved him too!
Rob’s rates are also incredibly reasonable. I don’t think you’ll find this level of skill, flexibility, and professionalism at these prices anywhere else. We’re so happy we chose Rob and absolutely love our photos.

Working with Rob was completely delightful. From the beginning he responded to my inquiries quickly and professionally. I felt confident I found the perfect photographer for my headshots to use on my website and one day my books. At the photo shoot, Rob selected the perfect spot where the lighting and variety of backgrounds resulted in professional yet uniquely me photos. The hour we spent together was fun, making the weirdness of getting my photo taken like a movie star kind of normal. Ha ha

Robert was amazing. He was very responsive and communicated very clearly. On the day of the photo shoot he was super flexible because we had a few people in our party running late and he just went with the flow. He gives off the best aloha vibes and was very professional for the shoot. We had a huge group and he was patient when we were trying to organize with all the chaos of 4 different families. I would use him again when we are back in Oahu and recommend him to anyone wanting to do any kind of photo shoot on the island.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My prices are as affordable as you will find for the work I put it in to my clients' projects and the quality I deliver.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
After the initial contact, I send the client my contract and finalize the arrangements for the date and location. In the time leading up to the shoot, we'll discuss the type of images we're going for to make sure I get the right lighting and camera gear set up. Because my work is just as much about the experience as the quality product I deliver, I make sure to be ready early and make time to connect with my clients.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Over the past 10 years, I've done a lot of self education, but I'm also a protégé of Peter Hurley's Headshot Crew and a member of the Professional Photographers Association.
