- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I absolutely love learning and experimenting! I am constantly taking classes to stay current in my field and to continue growing as a photographer. I am a firm believer that the learning process is an endless journey, especially when it comes to photography!
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I recently shot a funeral for a close friend who's husband had passed away, which was something I had never done before. The experience was incredibly moving and humbling; the images I captured were so poignant, beautifully bittersweet, and emotionally moving. I am proud that I was able to capture this final celebration of life in such a lovely and honorable way.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
When I am personally choosing a photographer for myself, I always make sure their work speaks to my heart. Beyond what they say, it is what they do that matters most to me. If their work makes me feel something, evokes an emotional response, and embodies a style that inspires me, then I know I have found a keeper. I also want to feel comfortable around them and know I can trust that they will do a great job! As a photographer, I strive to be the type of professional that I would personally hire because I sincerely want the best for my own clients. :)
