- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
All my fees are hourly rate and we require 50% deposit to secure the date. Cancellation within 3 days before the photoshoot, deposit will not be refunded. Cancellation within 4-7 days before the photoshoot, $30 deposit will not be refunded. That is because we will need to hold the dates for clients. With cancellation, the time slot will be wasted and it will be hard for us to get last minute booking.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I will confirm with the customers on the date and time first to make sure I’m available. Then I will talk about the type of photo service, pricing and all the details with the clients. If it’s easier, I’m always happy to talk to my clients on the phone since it’s the most effective way for communication. Once all the details are sorted out, clients are required to pay a 50% down payment to reserve the time slot they want. I will touch base with the clients on the day before the photo session. The clients will have my personal cellphone number and my assistant’s cellphone number for any changes or questions.
