FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Very reasonable
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I usually respond to their inquiry for a quote and contact them to request a meeting to discuss thier project and to look at everything in person so that I can ask any questions which arise. I determine what they would like done specifically and make any suggestions and reccomendations which I feel would be appropriate. I make notes of our meeting and conversation and advise them that I will draft a written proposal outlining my bid and will email it to them when complete. I give them an oppurtunity to review my quote and to make any additions and/or corrections as they would see fit as well as to make a counter offer if they would like. If they accept my proposal I work with them to schedule a time with which to do the job which would work best to fit thier schedule and other circumstances.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started painting when I was twelve working for our high school during the summer. I also grew up on a farm and painting the farm buildings was part of my chores. I enjoyed painting and continued to do it as a way to make extra money.
