- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We regularly take part in professional development offered by the Iowa Nursery and Landscape Association. We also have certified pesticide applicators on staff and participate in webinars offered for rainscapers and other professional skills.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I grew up with gardening with my Grandmother and Mother and loved flowers from the time I was a little girl. As a horticulturist for Wakonda Golf and Country Club, members loved my work and eventually I was able to start my company helping them with special projects.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
We do designs, spring and fall cleanups, monthly maintenance for residences and Home Owner Associations (HOA)s and other commercial sites, installation of annuals, perennials, shrubs, trees, low walls, patios, edging and containers.
