Hired on Thumbtack

Came to my home to give me an estimate, said they'd have it by the weekend, they never called. I called them, they never returned my call. A week later I finally got them on the phone, one guy said he'd have to talk to his partner and he'd get back to me. That was a week ago. I give up.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I provide several services : New Concrete - $4 a sq ft Tearout and Replace- $6 a sq ft Decrotive (stamping and colored concrete)-$15 a sq ft ONLY FLATWORK
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
To the guy that gave me a bad review you needed to be a lil more specific on the work you need done so you actually hire the right people ,there are different subs that install walls.
