Recently I had a project that I was able to split off 2 lots from a parcel and I needed custom duplexes designed for each lot. I've worked with Matt on a couple other large remodels ($100k+) in the past on which he did a wonderful job, so he was the first person I called for this job. He was quick, professional, and came up with several ideas and suggestions that were a great blend of cost efficiency and space functionality for both duplexes.       What is a general contractor?

      When starting a home remodel or new construction project, you will probably hire a general contractor. A general contractor is a professional who is qualified to take a set of building plans and construct them as outlined.       When you have a building project, ask for bids from various contractors. The bids tell you how much each will charge and what their scope of work will be.       Once you’ve identified several qualified candidates, request bids for your project and then compare the scope of work with your needs and budget.       Do property managers need to be licensed?

      The licensing requirements for property managers vary from state to state, but many states require property managers to have a real estate broker’s license and in some cases be a legal resident of a state.
